Gamrot: “I’m sure that Poirier will knock out Holloway”

UFC lightweight contender Mateusz Gamrot recently shared his thoughts on the highly anticipated BMF title fight between Dustin Poirier and Max Holloway. The bout is scheduled to headline UFC 318 on June 19 in New Orleans.

According to Gamrot, the upcoming fight holds significant importance for the division. “For me, the most important event in the division right now is the upcoming fight of Dustin Poirier,” Gamrot stated. He expressed strong confidence in the outcome, adding, “I am sure Dustin will knock out Holloway. This is his last fight, he will take the BMF belt and peacefully end his career.”

Gamrot also took a moment to praise Poirier`s character and impact on his own journey. “Dustin has had a huge impact on my career,” he commented, “I have always received support from him. He is an amazing person, and I believe he deserves all the best.”

These remarks from Gamrot follow his recent unanimous decision victory over Ludovit Klein at the UFC on ESPN 68 event held in Las Vegas.
