Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Vitor Belfort has commented on his recent induction into the promotion`s Hall of Fame.
Expressing his thoughts on the announcement, Belfort stated, “I had no idea that they would announce this today. Everyone wants recognition today, but when you fight just for that, the most important part is lost — the love for your work, for the process itself. I never fought for recognition, I fought because I believe in this sport, I gave it everything — inside and outside the cage. I dreamed that this sport would one day be shown on ESPN, and today it is broadcast here.”
