For Panathinaikos, Jerian Grant led the scoring with 19 points, followed by TJ Shorts with 15, Nigel Hayes-Davis with 12, Mathias Lessort with 11, and Juancho Hernangomez and Kendrick Nunn, who each scored 10 points. Panathinaikos’s fiery coach, Ergin Ataman, was ejected with 51 seconds remaining in the game.

The fourth game of the finals is scheduled for Wednesday.

“This will be the hardest victory to achieve, the third one is always complicated,” said Evan Fournier. “We have to go to OAKA and it will be very difficult, but we have two days to rest, analyze video sequences, improve, and learn from our mistakes.”
