Erling Haaland has raised concerns about a potential injury after he was seen leaving the Vitality Stadium in a protective boot.

The Manchester City striker played a key role in their FA Cup semi-final qualification, scoring a goal in the match against Bournemouth.

Haaland, 24, scored at the beginning of the second half, making up for a missed penalty in the first half.

He was substituted around the 60-minute mark due to an apparent ankle injury.

Despite attempting to continue playing, the discomfort was too much, and he was replaced by Omar Marmoush.

Following the game, Haaland was seen leaving the stadium with a large protective boot on his left leg.

He also needed crutches to get to the team bus, which raises questions about his availability for upcoming matches.

When questioned about the severity of the injury, City manager Pep Guardiola stated, “I don’t know yet. I saw him on the massage table, but I haven’t spoken to him or the doctors. We will have to wait and see.”

Earlier in the season, Haaland was sidelined for two games due to a knee injury, but has otherwise maintained exceptional goal-scoring form.

He has scored 21 goals in 28 Premier League appearances and 8 goals in 9 European matches.

City`s 2-1 comeback victory keeps their hopes alive for FA Cup silverware this season.

Guardiola`s team has faced a challenging season, struggling to defend their Premier League title and being eliminated from the Champions League.

Omar Marmoush, who joined in January, scored the winning goal on Sunday shortly after coming off the bench.

His goal secured the win for City after they had trailed following a goal from Bournemouth`s Evanilson.

Manchester City are set to participate in the revamped Club World Cup this summer, and Guardiola aims to move past the disappointing 2024/25 season.

Despite the FA Cup win, Guardiola commented on his team`s Premier League performance, stating, “We don`t deserve it this season. We don`t deserve a bonus this season. The bonus, if you win, I don`t know how much. You go there, (winning) it`s for the club. The managers, the backroom staff, the players we don’t deserve, not even a watch.”
