Former UFC interim featherweight title challenger, Josh Emmett, has offered his analysis regarding Ilia Topuria potentially competing in the lightweight division.
Emmett stated that Topuria might face difficulties in the lightweight class. He pointed out Topuria`s smaller stature compared to typical lightweights, suggesting a considerable size disadvantage. Emmett even believes he might be taller, or at least the same height, while possessing a more robust physique. Emmett emphasized the need to see Topuria compete against top-ranked lightweight contenders to properly evaluate his chances for a title run in the division.
