Following the path of former teammate Yoan Makoundou, who ventured to China, Michineau has chosen an unconventional destination to put a disappointing chapter behind him. He is set to continue his professional basketball journey with Dar City, a Tanzanian club, as confirmed by the Basketball Africa League (BAL) in their team presentation.
This season saw Michineau make just four appearances in the EuroLeague with Roca Team, marking a rather subdued return to France after spells in Italy and Turkey. His move to the BAL with Dar City presents a crucial opportunity for him to regain form and showcase his talent. He will notably form a formidable partnership with former NBA prospect and center, Hasheem Thabeet.
