UFC CEO Dana White has expressed his opinion regarding former two-division champion Conor McGregor`s stated intention to run for President of Ireland.
When asked about McGregor`s political ambitions at a press conference, White responded, “I`m not sure what to say, but I believe he could potentially do an excellent job. He appears to be very connected, and he delivered a passionate speech at the White House previously, addressing several important issues. We will have to observe how this unfolds and see what the public`s reaction is. I am aware that he is a proponent of absolute democracy, so it will be interesting to gauge public sentiment.”
It`s worth noting that McGregor has not competed in a fight since July 2021, when he suffered a defeat against Dustin Poirier early in the match.
