Former two-division UFC champion and current analyst, Daniel Cormier, offered his prediction for a hypothetical matchup between Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall. Cormier believes that if the fight were to happen right now, “Bones” would defeat Aspinall.
Speaking on the “Pound 4 Pound” channel with Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo, Cormier stated, “I swear, but I think Jon Jones will beat him right now.” He elaborated on his reasoning, citing Aspinall`s lack of experience in deep, championship rounds: “Tom doesn’t know what championship rounds are. He doesn’t know what it’s like. He doesn’t have that experience.”
