Former tennis world number one, Caroline Wozniacki, shared joyful news on Sunday via social media: she is pregnant with her third child.
In a beachside photo featuring her husband, retired NBA star David Lee, and their two children, Wozniacki playfully announced the upcoming arrival. Referencing her husband`s basketball career, she quipped about needing “zone defense” soon.
She joked about being outnumbered by children with the 2015 NBA champion. Fellow athletes, including Karolina Pliskova, Eugenie Bouchard, and Angelique Kerber, who is also expecting her second child, sent their congratulations to Wozniacki.
Olivia, their 3-year-old daughter, was pictured holding ultrasound images, while their son James is 2. Both children were born during Wozniacki`s break from the WTA Tour. Wozniacki, 34, retired after the 2020 Australian Open but made a comeback to professional tennis in 2023.
At the time of her return, Wozniacki expressed her continued ambitions and desire to be a role model for her children.
She stated her wish to demonstrate to her children that pursuing dreams is possible regardless of age or life roles.

Last year, she reached the quarterfinals in Indian Wells, the third round at Wimbledon, competed in the Paris Olympics for Denmark, and re-entered the Top 100 WTA rankings.
Despite not competing this year, Wozniacki served as a commentator at the Australian Open and presented the trophy on day one of the tournament.
