ASVEL Eyes Investment from Former Lakers Owners, Boosting Euroleague Ambitions

Sports News

Following the confirmed appointment of Tony Parker as head coach, ASVEL is reportedly on track to assemble one of the largest budgets in the Euroleague. According to Eurohoops, this financial surge may be partly attributed to the potential involvement of American billionaires Joey and Jesse Buss, former owners of the iconic Los Angeles Lakers, as new investors in the French club.

They are reportedly not the only ones, as two other undisclosed investors are also said to be in discussions. This news lends significant credibility to the rumors that have been circulating around the Villeurbanne-based club since late last week. ASVEL is determined to climb the Euroleague standings next season.
