Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall has identified former two-division titleholder Daniel Cormier as a highly problematic and challenging opponent for him.
“Whenever I watch Daniel Cormier, I invariably see an absolutely awful matchup for me. He possesses a compact frame, incredible physical power, and an unyielding forward attacking style. He would undoubtedly be an exceptionally tough opponent, yet I remain confident in my ability to finish anyone,” Aspinall explained on his YouTube channel.
Aspinall is set to defend his interim title against Ciryl Gane on October 25 at UFC 321, which will take place in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
