Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has explicitly stated his decision not to postpone his career development while waiting for Sean Strickland, who shows little urgency in pursuing a rematch.
Adesanya expressed no surprise at Strickland`s apparent lack of haste. He remarked, “I am not surprised. If you want to do something right — do it right the first time. That’s the lesson I’ve learned.” The former champion speculated on Strickland`s current priorities, noting, “Sean is busy with other things in his life. He has made the money he has dreamed of.” However, Adesanya firmly concluded, asserting his own drive: “But I do not want to sit idle. I am moving on. I just want to fight.”
